In 2008, Adam Zimmerman started with Lithko Columbus in the field with a focus on field engineering. He trained alongside Dick Reese and became a solid Field Engineer.
Recently, our Columbus BURG leadership, decided Adam was showing upside to a Project Lead. Operations Manager, Jim Houssami describes Adam as a “Quiet Storm” who has “fire in his belly”. “He is very smart, hardworking, and always looks for solutions. If he doesn’t understand something, he asks questions. When challenges arise, I can see the intensity and determination in his eyes to solve the issue, but he always remains calm,” Jim explains.
Adam has extensive experience on big structural projects and has completed one of these jobs as a strong Field Lead. During this time, he spearheaded the RFI process and took upon himself to reach out to the client to ensure we received all RFIs in a timely, organized manner. He is all about his team. He always has a good solid plan on how he is going to go about his tasks and engages his crew along the way. With his considerable amount of structural job knowledge, determination, and his ability to plan and lead teams, we are excited to see how Adam will perform as a Project Lead. He is getting his first opportunity to do this on Thompkins Ave project.
In his spare time, Adam enjoys showing animals with his kids at the fair.
