May Coworker Spotlight- Horacio Vega, Dallas BURG

Horacio Vega joined the Dallas Burg in December 2017 as a Field Lead. Prior to Lithko, Horacio worked at Aguilar Forming and Osburn Contractors in the Dallas Area.  He brings an extensive amount of concrete experience to Lithko. Additionally, Horacio has a drive to perform his role with excellence making him a good fit within our organization.  His leadership inspires those around him to “grab another gear” to get the job done.  His eye for detail and desire to perform are unsurpassed.  He treats all his coworkers with the respect they deserve which creates a collaborative atmosphere on the job.

“Currently Horacio is working at The UTSW Radiology Oncology Phase II project in Dallas. This is a complex project with 95’ deep slurry piers, grade beams, slab on void form, seven linear accelerator valuts (with heavy foundations and 42” roof slabs), 3 stories of a skip joist pan slab and a radius wall that resembles a “baby grand piano”.  Additionally, the project is on an extremely tight site making for a logistical challenge. This “not average job” is perfect for an individual with Horacio’s experience and knowledge and we can’t wait to see how he rises up to this challenge.”- Mike Boydston

We are proud to have Horacio as part of our team and look forward to great success in the future here in the Dallas Burg.
